On September 12th and 13th SOS – School of Sustainability has transformed Piazza dell’Unità in Bologna into an urban laboratory for the transition to the Circular Economy.
BFS, technical partner of the event, is proud to have supported such an important project for the younger generations and the city of Bologna!

Biodiversity Park

BF Servizi is specialised in the creation of exhibition stands but also of large areas for events. On the occasion of Expo Milano 2015, BF Servizi oversaw the installation of the whole Biodiversity Park: 8,500 sqm of park, a theatre and two pavilions dedicated to the biodiversity theme.

An itinerary between external areas and enclosed spaces, an exhibition featuring thirteen rooms with a circular layout and a theatre, the pulsating heart of the space and the main container of meetings.

Dalì Experience

Despite the designing of exhibition stands – pre-setup and customised – remains its main vocation, BF Servizi creates tailor-made setting ups for every type of event. Dalì Experience was the leading exhibition in Bologna from 25 November 2016 to 7 May 2017 inside Palazzo Belloni.

BF Servizi, official partner, took care of setting up the entire interactive and multimedia itinerary, which attracted visitors in an engaging and participatory experience in the discovery of about 200 works.

David Bowie IS

David Bowie IS was the first international retrospective dedicated to David Bowie’s career. BF Servizi, official partner of the exhibition, curated the scenographic staging of the last European stage, in Bologna from 14 July to 13 November at MAMbo.

A harmonious intertwining of the artist’s original items, videos and music for a journey with an important audiovisual multimedia component, capable of combining the experience deriving from years of planning of exhibition stands with museum set up. A charming result that has received gratifying appreciations from the Victoria and Albert Museum, curator of the exhibition, which proclaimed the one of Bologna one of the best productions from the date of its debut.

In addition to taking care of the design of exhibition stands, BF Servizi provides customised set-ups tailored to each type of event. On the occasion of Anime. Di luogo in luogo (From place to place), the anthological exhibition by Christian Boltanski edited by Danilo Eccher, opens at MAMbo Bologna from June 26th to November 12th 2017; BF Servizi was a technical partner for the set-up. From the American reticular structures to the isothermal coverings, the arrangement of each material has been studied to guarantee a result with high emotional and visual value as well as the high technical level.

Architetture Aperte

On the occasion of Cersaie 2018, BFS also supervised installations outside the Exhibition Centre! In fact, we have set up the exhibition ARCHITETTURE APERTE, scheduled at Palazzo Isolani for the whole duration of the Bologna Design Week 2018! The show, organized by the Order of Architects, was dedicated to all the selected drawings that participated in the “Call for Projects” of the Disorder exhibition.

Human Proportion

The Human Proportions installation, a project by Massimo Iosa Ghini, took on the occasion of Bologna Design Week during Cersaie.
When: 23 – 28 September 2019
Where: Piazza del Francia, Bologna

The structure, whose materials have been chosen with respect to sustainability, takes as reference the human body and the effect of non-finite, related to time, to distance and to the will to reach the unreachable.
BF Servizi is pleased to have participated in the installation of the project in quality of partner.

New Year’s Eve 2010

Event for the Municipality of Bologna in collaboration with Misma Onda: the high-speed rail connection between Bologna and Florence, started only few days earlier, allowed several artists to perform at both the concerts taking place in Piazza Maggiore and Piazza della Stazione.

Bologna Art First

Event arising from the collaboration between the City of Bologna and Arte Fiera Art First, which develops in the city and its surrounding areas.
A journey through pictures between art and history through site-specific installations site specific by artists who work with the galleries present at the Trade Fair. A single large, collective exhibition to create a dialogue between contemporary art and unusual locations in the Old City centre and the surrounding areas.
